We need more small maps
Posted: Sat Oct 16, 2010 9:34 amI've noticed the small maps tend to be more popular. I have some suggestions that might make any up coming small maps more fun.
1) The normal bonus for the number of regions a player has is 1 troop for 3 regions, with a minimum of 3 troops. For smaller maps, the region bonus remains unchanged for the bulk of the game. It might make sense to change the bonus to that of 1 troop for 2 regions (or 1 region for really small maps), keeping the same minimum of 3 troops.
2) Smaller maps with plenty of continents giving extra bonuses are the best for no spoils games that have little chance of becoming stalemates.
