photoshop cs2 questions.

i have got some new patterns for cs2. the problem is some of them somehow got duplicated and it's a real bitch scrolling more. how can i remove some patterns?

DiM...sometimes, if you move the patterns you don't want in Windows Explorer to another directory, it might pick up the changes next time you open Photoshop and the ones you moved might no longer be in the pattern list. It worked for me with Fireworks textures.

make a selection to fill with a pattern

then

Edit > Fill > Use:Pattern > Custom Pattern > right click the pattern you want to delete > Delete pattern

done

use google to search for photoshop patterns you'll find many sites like http://www.graphicxtras.com/ that offer free (or demo) brushes patterns, etc.

i always make my own brushes and patterns. but there are a select few sites i use for patterns when im lazy.

i always make my own brushes and patterns. but there are a select few sites i use for patterns when im lazy.

click the brush > click the brush drop down box ? click the arrow in the top right of the drop down box > save brushes

this will save the whole brush set, so if you have the standard bushes mixed in there, it will save the whole thing. to create a new brush set to save it in click New Brush set
