I can live with the wait... Lack likes to make sure everything will work, and he likes to do maps in a batch. Waiting a few days is a fair price to pay.
What really cheeses me off is when somebody posts a poll that is clearly intended to solicit a particular outcome... you know, like this:
Waiting time for "already quenched maps is too long.
- Yes, I don't like to wait a few weeks for live play.
- No, to wait a few weeks is reasonable.
To wait a few weeks for live play is, indeed, unreasonable. But how often have we had to wait a few weeks? I've quenched four maps, and I don't think I've my average wait time has been under a week. Scotland was two days, and the others were all 5-10 days. So while I would agree that I don't like to wait a few weeks for live play, I refuse to take part in the poll because
I've never had to wait a few weeks for live play.
