A lot of people have been abusing the fact that you get 5 bonus armies immediately in Age of Might and buffing one guy to eliminate all enemy players by the end of the second turn... please can we balance this map?!?

That's not abuse...as long as its a team game...

greggie, that is a legit strategy for the map.

When you say "balance the map" how would you suggest that the balancing be done?

sorry, that was poorly worded. well, if they do it, DO IT BACK AT THEM!! age of realms magic has a fewer deployment, so you can play that. also, if they deploy on them, they can't deploy on themselves, so you can attack them

if you're talking about team games then do the same thing with your team.

if your talking about singles games where more people gang on you from the start then i suggest reporting a possible secret alliance

This is simply cheap though for people like myself that don't use an organized team and just play casual games... there is no chance.

If you don't like the map, don't play it.

PS Is there a difference between an organized team and just a team? Is that just the difference between a good team and a bad team? Is this a rhetorical question?

the difference between a good organized team and a 'casual' team is that the good team finds it easy to casually win, while the bad team has a bad time loosing.
Basicly teamgames should not be played by those that don't do teams..lol

this is mostly true, however, the smart players will learn from watching their fate, get two partners and possibly do the same.

You do have to lose to learn how to win. However, joining against a highly ranked team is tough. I do it every once in a while blindly just to see if I can take down some titans with unplanned partners... its tough, but when you win, it does feel good :D

learning by example is good. To make my post clearer i could have used "do" instead of do. As in, if people are playing teamgames almost as if they are still single and proud not to ábuse' the system, well then you cleary not got it.
ps AAFitz, if you ever look for a rookie to teach teamgames to(as partner), as long as they are seq, i'd be grateful..

later all

This is not a problem of the map, its just the way that map works. If you don't enjoy that style of play than you should just avoid the map.

Moving this to the foundry...

I hate to tell you this, but there is no chance most of the time if you are playing pickup teams and an organized team finds your game and jumps in. It doesn't matter which map you are playing.
