How do you make them? It would be really useful to know...

what kind of bridges are you talking about? realistic bridges like on feudal war or colour switching bridges like puget sound?

More like Feudal War. The map I'm working on will have bridges from an island-city to villages.

Draw a grey rectange, use the burn tool on the barrier sides of the bridge, then use some light burn and dot it around the bridge a little.

Thanks, seems simple enough.

How would you suggest making roads? In my Tar Valon map, I used the Craquelure texture, which worked well for one road (made it seem like it was indented into the ground), but not so much for the others.

As I say in the thread, the roads are intended to be impassables, so they probably shouldn't be simple lines.

Click on my sig to see what I'm talking about, by the way.
