Upcoming a 21 Player game based off of
If someone would desire to check balance as a co-mod I would be more than happy to include them. Role PM's are being written, however Initial Setup is done.

Have had a game balanced checked, it is a semi themeless game. The story making theme is an Island in a post apocalyptic world, but it has a hidden theme the players can use. If the players can figure out the theme, it could be a game changer, but unless that happens, it will be themeless, but it will be a nice, smooth running game . Details come out tomorrow!

Need a balance checker for a 13-15 size game of players. PM me, and I'll send the doc as an attachment/Copy doc and send as a PM.

Would anyone like to see me mod a game again? ^^

Sign-ups will begin this weekend.

If Anarks fills up quick I will also run a NEWBIE GAME for those of us without much experience.

Signups will start once Anarks game is full.

I will run it with the same setup as a newbie game on Mafiascum (yes I will do random.org rather than choose what I want to mod).

I think i'll be looking to host a game at some point.
not sure on theme thinking (ASOIAF aka Game of thrones), but its gonna have some different mechanics to the game for sure ^_^
probably will be looking for a co host or two to help out (probably need the most help with flavor).

Read the game that crapped out. People were really excited for it, but the mod went mia...you'd get a good crowd. You could even ask the players for their role pms for flavor.

i will be traveling in may, so my plan will be to start it mid may when i return. I have 1 person who has pm'd me regarding co host. So i have a start on that.
ill be meshing some stuff from my own personal experience of playing forum mafia as well. Pretty sure ill have some "interesting" roles as well. (closed set up)

I'm all for it. I would debate some of those labels but I would be here a while.

I will not get excited. I got to excited for the last one and then it fizzled out...but I'm excited.

They do seem to be about as doomed as the characters in the books so far.

Will be hosting a newbie mafia game, Friendly to those who are wanting to experience the mafia game. The set up will be a semi closed set up, meaning you will know all possible roles, the games theme will be very light, or might not even have one. The focus being structure of game play, and enjoying the scum hunt.

Set up will be between 9-15 players
Looking for people to be coaches that have experience and time willing to help. A scum coach, And several town coaches (no town coach having more than 2 students)
Coaches are not required to read the thread and keep up, they can coach how every they want, just avoid giving their own personal opinion on players in the game and their own reads. You want to have them doing things themselves with guided help.
Players with under 3 games played ideally
I think ideally having 1 of these every month if they can be filled.
In order for it to run in a months time, I'm thinking of 48 hour day phase and 24 hour night phase. Maybe 72/24.

Also My next game will be not "themed" BUT it will be "Pick Your Power" Not sure if this has ever been played, but i assure you it is a very fun set up.

Balance Not Included mafia. I am going to tentatively schedule it for Mid-August. I will be looking for between 12-18 players. Here's how it stands. I have an assortment of 36 possible roles. Some of these will be common roles, some of these semi-common, some of them will be rarely used roles and I even have a few that I don't think have ever been used in the mix. Depending on how many sign up these roles will be randomly assigned to players regardless of alignment. I may include character names from popular media or just randomly but they will be for flavor only and do not indicate role abilities or alignment. For instance, someone could wind up with Buffalo Bill-town Doctor. Or Sigmund Freud-Mafia sex addict

Edit: August 13th is now the tentative date for starting sign ups. I may try for a bit earlier but that's the date I think i will get around to it.

Gonna host a game somewhere by the end of October. This will be my first moderated game (on a forum).
Setup will be very small: 9 players.

For me the goal of the game is getting some experience in as moderator (I mod real life, real time games on vacation for my friends), and try a setup for 9 players to use on my next rl, rt game.

I'd like a volunteer to check out the balance and discuss what balance would be most fun for a small game.
