I cannot directly quote his posts due to rules tied to that specific sub forum, but if people were to specifically look for this, or simply browse the off topics to see this specific sub forum, you'll see a lot of the content in that section that is filled with some of the most of vile posts made by one specific user, namely Xtra, and some of the most blatant racism that is being ignored for whatever reason.

Even though this part of the forum has it's own set of rules that again, for arbitrary reasons, has this section where it not only allows racism, but indirectly promotes it. I'd like for everyone to look at the community guidelines which should be the end all be all of how we conduct ourselves.

Number 7 directly contradicts this sub forum and therefor should A. Number 7 should be reformed to correspond with this sub forum (which would be silly). or B. The rules in this sub forum should be reformed.
With that, the threads created by Xtra should be deleted in it's entirety.

Xtra himself has always been the same user that has been explcitly racist. Take it from me, I've been around for over a decade, and this user has not changed from the time of his perma ban, to the time he appealed and came back. He has since came back but resorted to his old ways of being completely and utterly racist.

I implore the mods to simply look at this post history, any user can see that he is racist, and that his posts are not in a joking manner as per the "context matters" rule. I would like for this user to go back to perma ban list, or no longer be a part of the forums and should stay there. I see no reason for this user to be part of this community in the forums.

You can't put a players name in the subject line, but you can be as racist as you want.

This makes absolutely zero sense.

C'mon guys, keep the subject line rule, but add the no racism rule.

RULE 5. The use of racist words directed at another person is not permitted. You may use these words in general talk provided they are used in the correct context and not to belittle or demean others.

Have you read how you worded rule 7? Racism is not permitted in ANY form on this site.

Meaning; you can't just magically make a sub forum and say "this section is exempt from the rules because I say so." That doesn't make any sense.

It's either this site allows racism, or this site doesn't. So which is it?

We're so far beyond the rules inconsistencies on this website. Who even gives a f*ck about that anymore. It's just the racism that's relevant, whether it's against the rules or not. Change the fucking rules.

Yeah their inconsistent, but the only way to get anything done around here is to refer to these broken guidelines and try to be an amateur lawyer.

Maybe so. Even the front facing mods seem torn about the rules. But also not allowing racism is common sense from an ethical and even financial perspective. There's a real simple solution here.

actually the easiest way get this to change is posting racist stuff like xtra until it's clear to the mods that it's not what they want.

right now xtra is like a pet that does funny tricks to the eyes of some.. if we all post racist stuff non stop for 3 days it would do the trick.

Folks, the topic at hand is if Xtra actually breached the guidelines set for by Trash Can, which explicitly says to not belittle others in a racial fashion.

You need only look at the threads he has created and see very very clearly, that those are very broad terms, and it applies not only to everyone in RL, but to the folks who are CC users.

If Trash Can is allowed to still be here, it needs it's rules to be reformed.

Everyone posting in this thread is well aware that rule 5 was introduced after someone (I forget who) called owen a neegra, and the rule was explicitly introduced for the purpose of stopping posters calling each other racist names. This game of Symantics, trying to twist the rule to fit what you would like to happen, is lame.

And special shoutout to TFO for being lame x4.
