Major Lee if you have nothing to add to the thread, just move along. There is no point coming in here like a child to insult someone further.

To the OP. The user was extremely rude, and having an obvious losing meltdown, but I'm not sure it's enough for him to be reprimanded. He didn't say anything bigoted. Losing one's temper once in a while can be forgiven. However, if his behaviour is systematic and he's abusive toward everyone he plays with, then Abuse team will look into that, but you have to provide game numbers for those so they can check it out.

With this alone, they will probably just note it and tell you to foe and move on. Personally, I would just foe players like this anyway. They're honestly the reason I don't do speed. And with everything the way it has been over the past year and a half, none of us need people like this. We're all in a position where real life is weird, we can't go out and socialise like we normally would, and CC and things like it are a place to unwind, and not feel stressed out by nonsense. People like that don't think of the people on the receiving end as "real" because they can't see them. Meeting ignorant morons kinda defeats the purpose of playing games to relax. One has to find a reason to laugh at it, rate accordingly, and Foe! =)

It is up to CC to set the standards.

If you allow such language it is free for anyone to use it then and u get a community that will adapt to it. Players that dont like it will presumably quit the site and CC will end up with a community filled with this crap talk.

Allowing it with out reprimands means CC set a standard were it is allowed in chat for anyone to use the lanquage N is using including:

I never thought of the word "snowflake" as bigotted. I could be wrong, but it's often generally thrown at people for dumb reasons. Like old people saying "millennials are a bunch of babied snowflakes, they got everything handed to them by their parents" (I'm a millennial btw)

Anyway Ruffington, I didn't want to see someone coming in here adding fuel to the fire, so asked Major Lee to step out. That was my primary reason for responding to the thread. I don't set the rules though or make decisions in here. And maybe I agree with you on the level of bad language used, but it isn't up to me. I was just giving you some advice based on precedent of similar cases on how to make a better case. If the player is being systematically abusive across multiple recent games, post the game numbers in this thread. (Add them to the OP) Then the Cheating and Abuse team will look into those and make a decision based on the wider sample. It's a holiday weekend in some places, so they might not get around to it until Tuesday, which is why you haven't seen a response yet.

I appreciate your comment Shannon Apple.My statement was not meant to be inflammatory although i can see how it may have appeared that way.

I do believe i have something useful to add to the conversation and maybe this is a better way of saying it.

Good or bad, right or wrong ,people use foul language frequently in the chat.I also appreciate your distinction about bigotry as that should be an exception.some terms are universally recognized as extremely offensive and we all know what they are so i don't need to repeat them.

In terms of swearing and use of the F word ,it happens frequently.Therefore the question needs to be asked:Is it allowed to use that kind of language in the chat or not? If it is allowed then ( forgive me) "suck it up buttercup" and move along.If it is not allowed then everyone who uses it should be treated the same all the time.

I think Shannon made a good answer to the issue and I have no problem handling players like N
My intention to the report to try and raise the standards in behaviour. It is not so nice to have the chats filled with abusive comments.
The chats will be filled with the language the community accept.
