Changed the monitors a bit, but left them as if they are on a wall and not at a desk with them in perspective view.

Doing ok there kiddo. I am beginning to think a little bit about your setup here and think I see why, at least for me why it looks a little off. The idea and theme is great, don't get me wrong, but a bit of an approach change I believe is in order. To me, the map looks kinda like a map, a regular ordinary paper type map with several TV monitors stacked up in front of it.

To really enhance the map's theme and overall feel I suggest the entire map be just one framed out monitor with the instructions/legend be split screens along the bottom, positioned just as you have them now. The remaining negative areas, currently filled with blue/blank background should be filled in a little bit with graphical accents, text like "MISSILE ALERT, ENEMY ENGAGED, SIGNAL LOST, TARGET INBOUND" and so on, and additional military type jargon, map coordinates, random numbers, bright shiny lights! ;)

Again I'll throw out the classic 80's movie Wargames as a reference.

Yea, well, I agree with you to a certain extent. But unfortunately I just don't have the time to redo all the graphics. RL is keeping me busy thus the once a month updates and the reason I resigned from being a CA. SO if anyone has any other ideas that can be done within the theme, then please speak up!!

I'm not actually asking for a major overhaul, I think anyways, and I'd put some time into if you wanted to throw me a look at the files.

Something that might work and keep RB0s idea afloat without doing much is this.

Place the frame you have for the monitors around the whole map and then use the blue you have for the non playable areas for the monitors part. Place a contrasting blue around each section to separate them. Round of the corners of the boxes to give them a more fluid look. Any part of America underneath the boxes now should show through. Kind of like looking through a hologram.

I think that'd work out pretty well.

just 2 things for now:

1. the monitors at the bottom have really inconsistent borders. for example look at the fighters monitor. it has a tiny border on top and a big one on the bottom. i think you should pick a size and go with that for all monitors. it will look neater and more consistent.

2. the title could use some artistic work. i know you don't have a lot of space, but you can still do something fancier.

"I.e." should be "e.g."

I.e. means "that is," e.g. means "for example."

[moved]

Seems the progress f this map has stalled. (Despite the use of a cattle prod...) This map will be placed on vacation for a period of 6 months, after which the map will be considered abandoned and the idea can again be used by any other mapmaker. Should the mapmaker wish to pick up development of this map while it is on vacation, all you need to do contact any CA, after an update is made. Should any changes occur in the Foundry that would require update to the map, even if they are gameplay changes though that stamp has been given, they still must be addressed like any other concern. Should the GP need to be completely revisited at that time, that determination will be made by the CA's and possible rescinding of said stamp may be required.
