Have you ever wanted to get your feet wet playing 1v1 matches? Do you like the concept of being rewarded for your victories? Do you like to trash talk not only your fellow SoC Students, but also the Grads and Teachers?
Well...we've got the place for you...
The Society of Cooks Ladder Challenge
About six months ago, Macbone and I created a Ladder for grads and teachers to work on our 1v1 skills. After beta-testing, we now have over 30 active players, have worked out the kinks, and are ready to unveil the Ladder to everyone in the SoC!
You won't have any teachers to help give advice...you compete on your own skill. Believe me, you will get better the more you play.
The Ladder is currently active, so any new players will be placed at the bottom...you'll have to fight your way up.
It's very simple. You challenge someone (or be challenged by someone). All matches are best 2 out of 3...Each player creates their own "home" map, with the Challenger creating a random map with specific settings. The winner moves up...the loser stays where they are at.
We are also giving out medals for consecutive win streak and defending the #1 position!
As an SoC Student, there are certain prerequisites you have to possess to join the Ladder. These are:
1. You must over have 100 completed CC games with 95% or higher on turns taken.
2. Must be at least Sergeant level when you enter the Ladder.
3. Have completed at least 5 SoC games (Basic or Team).
4. Must have won at least 1 SoC Training game.
All SoC Students will be verified before being allowed to participate in the Ladder.
All SoC Grads and Teachers are exempt from the prerequisites.
If you are interested in signing up, please leave a reply. All players will be added to the Ladder in the order they sign up. Once the Ladder goes live, I'll send you a PM with the active thread link.
