well if it really is up then he didn't fix it because BOB still shows Lubbock as not connecting to Towakwa...

if there were no other problems than Pampa/Lubbock connections then mine is correct.

yea his shows these coordinates for Pampa

<smallx>203</smallx>
<smally>182</smally>
<largex>270</largex>
<largey>235</largey>

and these for Lubbock

<smallx>265</smallx>
<smally>94</smally>
<largex>354</largex>
<largey>119</largey>

Note that on the map, Lubbock is southwest of Pampa

Therefore it is not possible for his coordinates to be correct. I switched them on mine so that is correct.

Bryguy, what did you specifically fix? (Another thing that is helpful...always state what has been fixed or changed, like Edbeard previous did in his post).

I see a lot of people having this

<?xml version="1.0" ?>

at the top of their XML. This is not necessary to my knowledge and is added when you view the XML with an XML editor. When you write the XML, <map> should always be at the start

There is an exception to this though. If you're specifying that non-standard characters are going to be used in certain tags (eg: Iceland map). Though I'm not totally sure where that line of code is supposed to go or the syntax of that code.

bryguy says there are other problems. I have not heard of that at all.

Take the old XML switch the coordinates of those two I said above. Post the XML here and I'll do it f*ck. Actually fine.

Playing the map at this writing and problem still exists.

Hey this is still a problem, if you can't fix it right away, can you atleast tell people that have games on this map that there's a bug?

yep. they uploaded bryguy's version which didn't include the fix. I really have no idea what he did.

I don't think there were other errors as the Lubbock/Pampa error was the only thing mentioned in the thread.

Please fix the Lubbock/Pampa error, I just messed up a likely victory by attacking through that section.

Ah, already reported. This is absolutely hellish, It's just about lost me a game. Surely it should be a quick fix.

So should the Lubbock/Pampa bug be fixed in games that are already started or only on new ones? The reason I ask is its still broken in my game.

well you haven't reposted your 'correct' version so there's no way for us to know it's correct.

Also, you took away all the - signs you say? When you open the XML from the webpage it has all sorts of extra stuff on there. So when you copy/paste it you'll get those - in the XML. So you didn't really 'fix' that problem. It's something that'll show up when you look at the XML on the site but isn't actually part of the XML.

No offense but you already posted one bad version and haven't posted your fixed one so I would just suggest they take mine.

yea idk what all i fixed, but they can use yours or mine. Like i said in a post earlier, i was tired. Also, i had like 10 different links on my desktop, so you should be glad you didnt get a link to something completely different, at least i got the picture to the large map there

either way you can use yours or mine, they both should work fine

Not sure if I'm missing something from the map but uh...i can't fort from andrews to Pampas/Lubbock (whichever one it is-the one directly north).

read closely. The two territories are swapped on the map. So if you are in Andrews and the map is showing you have armies in lubbock but not pampa, you actually have no armies in lubbock.

i'm totally serious but reading that is funny as hell.

The territories of Pampa and Lubbock are switched in map ID's. I can't believe this wasn't picked up earlier. Please fix.

Thanks,
