Anyhow, since this thread is for an idea which has to be handled in the Maps department I am Archiving this thread.

Was a suggestion about the throne starting as a neutral 3 instead of being one of the territs assigned to someone. This has been suggested in the map thread as well but I was unsure how to find that.

He is suggesting it should start neutral. Which makes sense.

humm didn't understand it that way, he is saying that it always starts neutral, so it seems to be a problem for him? i hate that bloody map by the way, 100% loss on it with incredibly unfair dice each time.

I agree with MoB's interpretation... either way its an extremely lazy way to go about things.

Lazy or genius..hmm

Specific map details are handled by the maps department. As far as I know there isn't really a standardized procedure for asking for changes to non-beta maps, because it happens so infrequently.
If you want more of a response I suggest that you PM one of the Cartographers

I think that this might be a good idea, you have my full support in applying this change...obviously if it's not just me and you!

If we do this, we may as well do madness and Montreal too, right?

This is a good start, but Montreal works pretty nice. Much easier to attack downtown than the Throne in General.

How so? More territories attack the throne than downtown, and you generally have less territs in Montreal so you could easily get screwed by dice trying to get it away.

Same with madness

There is only 1 way into the throne, but yet Montreal as many ways to get to Downtown, and I am not talking about connecting territories.
