I was merely pointing out that most users are behind Technologically....and any updates here have to serve everybody

Allowing people the option to automatically log them in via a cookie isn't shutting anyone out from playing the game.

what happened?

Hi all! There is a problem : in the last few days I take my friend's turn (then flag changes on my country flag). He asked me to do this because he is away from access to the internet(sudden business trip). Its easy to find his e-mail because vrpp posted in own profile in particular ICQ. And I should like to add that absolutely each person can RESET PASSWORD - as this accepted on some sites like this. You need for E-MAIL . Just it 8)

P S I am not good in English. So be it Excuse me please. I am waiting opening russian forum

invalid login . 2 HOURS PASSED ... little time to dead-line

i don't get it either.

i play chess at timeforchess.com and there they have a 'keep me logged in' option which works FOREVER - and i've never noticed any burglars.

How about installing a keep me logged in feature when you sign in, like in e-mails.

Automatic Login/Remember Me

I believe a "remember me for two weeks" box should be added when we sign in so that we don't have to keep signing in. This is one of the few sites that still do not have one.

yeah this is a good idea.... but if you get firefox you can have your internet remember you and when you bring up the site your username and password are already put in for you.... i just recently got firefox and have enjoyed it a lot.... =D>

I would prefer not to rely on my browser saving passwords. Especially when most other sites that requires authentication has an option to 'remember' you (the only real exceptions I can think of are financial sites, for obvious reasons).

An automatic log-in checkbox?

Concise description:
  • You know...so when you go onto the site from the same computer you are logged right in?

Specifics:
  • A box...say, 1/4 inch by 1/4 inch. It could be filled with a little dot, or an X, or a check...a smiley face if you want, or a penis. Be creative

This will improve the following aspects of the site:
  • Easier to log in...

I couldn't find any previous suggestions of this nature, so don't hate on me please.

Are you saying you are too lazy to log in, maybe that is why you havn't found any other threads about this because everyone else isn't lazy

Secondly, why would anybody want to put a penis on the front page??
There are kids on this site you know

TBH there is no point in this suggestion what so ever.

I mean it will take no longer than 10 seconds to log in, in fact most people can do it in 2 or 3, so lets say 5 seconds. Players will usually log in one or two times a day meaning that each day they spend around 10 seconds logging in. I don't really think it is a death situation do you??

Although despite this, i am surprised that there isn't already a 'remember me' box as most websites (especially games) have them, but i think there are more important things for Lack to be doing than this.

It would be nice for people using IE or safari to save a total of a few hours in their lives by not doing the full log in process. Is there a reason why we can't implement this idea?

you do realize that IE and safari will save and autofill your passwords as well now

Even if the feature were implemented jayfin it would be done using cookies. And so switching browsers would defeat the feature anyway.

Automatic Login

I think an automatic login option would be very handy, or at least a 'remember username' option
