a) it will be more accurate. You can't really say you "completed" a game unless you actually completed it. Deadbeating doesn't count, grammatically.
b) there are hordes of deadbeats just trying to increase their presence on the scoreboard. This would stop that.

hordes?

head over to C&A and file some reports against these 'hordes'. as things currently stand i can't see a problem.

Deadbeating shouldn't count as losing?

Whilst I can see a benefit if there are things to be gained from 'completing' games (ie eligibility for the higher ranks), I can also see a very easy abuse - if you're losing a game, you deadbeat, and consequently your win percentage is much higher. Of course it's sad that people can't just play honestly, but such is life
I'm not sure about the grammatical argument either: your participation in a game is complete when you're eliminated by an opponent; this is just being eliminated by the rules.
How about if it showed a percentage of games deadbeated alongside the other value?

first, no one cares about completed games,
second removing those would artificially increase win rate and people would deadbeat even more losers,
and third, on large maps trench speeders people tend to agree on a deadbeat when it's decided because finishing it the normal way would take much more time. Almost all my missed turns and the ones of my opponents are due to this, back when i used to do a lot of trench speeders on maps such as das scholls, hive, feudal epic ect ect

this suggestion basically would bring problems and solve none.

I have to agree with others that this is not a great idea and doesn't really seem practical anyway.

Many players deadbeat because they have lost and it actually speeds the game up to just deadbeat. For settings like trench, that can be very common. In addition, people could deadbeat in games they know they will lose to avoid having it count against their record and win percentage. No, I think all games, deadbeated or not, need to count.
