Neutral starting values change based on Spoils Setting

Concise description:
  • In order to eliminate stalemating on some maps, it would be great to allow the neutral starting values to change based on the spoils setting chosen

Specifics/Details:
  • If you create targets in a map that are so valuable that they can be game changing/ending, the value generally does not work for no spoils, flat, and escalating. We will give mapmakers the ability to create games with a better risk/reward balance. The easiest example of this is Das Schloss where no one ever hits the 60-neutral resetting terits so all games are won by being the first to control Das Schloss or the Airfield and turning that bonus into the ability to get rid of your opponents from the one you do not control (in general I say this). Whereas in escalating, it is all about planning for elims once the escalation gets high enough. I am guessing mapmakers would appreciate this arrow in the quiver.

How this will benefit the site and/or other comments:
  • I think it would improve existing and new maps. If this has been suggested before ... apologies!!!!!

Robes, this is a great idea but one that would take a huge amount of work to achieve. But I do know that it has been asked before that maps become limited to certain settings only. With over 200 maps now, why not have a map designed for no spoils games only. Here the neutrals can be minimal and starting /bonus troops can be adjusted. This I am afraid will never get done for existing maps but may come about for new maps sooner or later.

I thought this might have been asked before. Apologies for wasting bandwidth.
