[ I noticed there are more negative tags than positive. I humbly submit the following new tags. "Polite" and "Good Sport". On a side note this is my first post. Please forgive any transgression(s) that I may unintentionally commit. Thank you for you time and consideration. Hopefully, my suggestion will improve the relations between players. Until then, ImaNoid ]

The ratings window should just get a major overhaul. Not that it's useless but it could function more optimally.
For instance I think that if they would just add "average player, nothing special to add"-button which would automatically rate someone 3 stars on everything, it could push people to actually use the ratings system as it was intended to.

+1

One thing I would do is have only two categories, Social and Gameplay.

The social category would cover all things related to being friendly/unfriendly in chat, including the (largely illusory) stuff that's now considered "fair play." Everybody you play would be able to rate you on the Social scale.

The Gameplay scale would only be available to someone who beat you (to prevent revenge ratings from people who lost), and that someone would have to have a higher rank than you (who really thinks that a cook's assessment of your strategy is meaningful input?)
