Missing a turn and getting twice the troops next turn

If a player misses a turn then, rather than get their deployment at the start of their next go (and can use them for attacking) they get them at the end of their next go for deployment only.

I am sure that, at one time, this was the case. However, I have come across several instances where missing a first go and getting those missed troops to use for attacking on the second go, seems to be a deliberate tactic.

If it is a balanced game and there is no immediate need to counter your opponent's deployment, or boost ones own, missing a turn has the unfair advantage on turn two of having twice the normal deployment to use for attacking.

I think it is fairer if those missed troops are given at the end of the player's next go so that they are deployed rather than being used for an attack.

This is exactly what is happening now. Despite the log showing the deferred troops at the beginning, you get to deploy them only once you press end assault, during your reinforcement phase, you can deploy all deferred troops at once on one territory only, then you can make your fort.

We could laugh at Dave. But when you think a little further, this probably just means Dave is the sort of guy that never misses a turn, and thus has no reason to know exactly how it works. :)

Good man Dave! =D> =D> Knights Templar are lucky to have ya :)
