Game Log in Fog games to show territories you have lost

The Game log in a Fog game should show the territories you have lost

Specifics/Details:
Currently in a fog game's game log you can you only see a descrtiption of the territories you have won.
eg:
2016-01-07 07:56:35 - BrutalBob assaulted Samogitia from Selija and conquered it from Reazione Estrema

When you lose a territory it shows only as
2016-01-06 20:34:30 - Reazione Estrema assaulted ? from ? and conquered it from BrutalBob

I would at least like it to name the territory you lost. This way you could follow what has happened in the game. Especially if it has been a while since you have seen it and you come back and numerous territories are gone and you dont know even which ones they were.

I dont think it breaks the core principle of a fog game, that you know which territory you lost, just as you are currently told you which territory you won.

I dont have a preference whether the assaulting territory is named or not.

Very much in favour of this. Have often wondered why it's not already the case.

Not in favor, its just part of fog of war. It should be easy to remember what you lost on terro's. Especially with the snaps. It is a part of fog of war, and should stay a part of fog of war!

Agree, what is the point to play a fog game but having such a tool....a snapshot should be your best friend to know what territory you have lost from your last turn...

If you want such as feature I will suggest you playing sunny game :D

"That is how it currently is" is not an argument for why something shouldn't change.

Why have a log at all in fog of war? Anyone who wants a log can go and play sunny.
Can you genuinely not see the point of playing fog of war if the log told you which territories you had lost? Do you not see there is a massive difference between wanting that and wanting no fog?

Spys aside, warlords were blind to happenings outside of their borders but they definitely knew and had records of which battles they had lost.

The purpose of playing "fog of war" game is to layout your own strategy per your drop and try to figure out what your opponent is about to play...having a game log is not what you will look for...its like playing chess and enforce your strategy but also adapt your play with your opponent moves.

Also and if you are playing this type of game in a multiplayer game you may have to log in way before your turn to take snapshot as well...not an easy play but when you start to know the map you are playing with then you will figure out pretty quick and without any game log.

;)

a screen capture you can take using the panel interface option after your turn, you can select it to be automatic after you play your round.

Groan.. another CC detail/feature hidden away . I have never heard of this. Why on earth is it available only on panels interface? I'll leave that rant for another time. (I did try panels briefly not long ago but it caused me some other problem which I cant remember).

So how can you say that if I want this feature I should play sunny and that simply having a log advise the player that lost the territory is against what a fog game should be.

These arguments make no sense when you have a tool that can snapshot the end of each turn already. What I was asking for gives much less information than is already available.

NO, YOUR MISSING THE POINT OF FOG!

Those in the know use snaps, those who arent must suffer!

This makes no sense but it is the argument presented by multiple people above. There is no reason for the log to not show you information which is available elsewhere.
