what about if you are playing a team game and one of your partners is in the red zone timewise, a button that says play your team mates turn for them. without having to log in. this could be limited to the number of turns in a game to avoid abuse. we all have Real life issues that occasionally prohibit us logging in, so why shoyuld that be to the detriment of the rest of your team?
any thoughts?

It's a good idea, it's a sitting feature. This ( or similar idea ) have been proposed before. You should make a research in the suggestions forum. Try to put it up again.

Concise description:
* wouldnt it be useful when playing team games to be able to play a teams mate's turn when they are in the red zone timewise? I mean without logging into their account. we all have real life issues that prohibit us logging onto the site, but why should that be detriment to the rest of the team.
Specifics/Details:
* A button within the game that says play team mate's turn. * limit the numebr of times this can happen to avoid abuse * chat would automatically be updated with "turn taken by X"
How this will benefit the site and/or other comments:
* it will avoid ruining the game for others * it avoids having to give PW to lots possible sitters * it avoids people scratching around with minutes to go trying to find someone with the pw

People will abuse it in its current form. I'll invite two low ranked players if they want to "rank up fast", then play 3v3 conquer rome or something while I'm actually playin poly.

can also, only be used when the player is in the red zone. that would take a lot of care to time that right.

I often let my games go near the red zone. It doesnt matter if it works for 90% of the site, a fraction of the 10% that can exploit it will exploit it. See monthly scoreboard. However if you add current sitting rules and tweak them a bit, it could work. I'm in favor of it but playing devil's advocate.

in before the move to suggestions. and the suggestion that you be able to use 1 time per game per team member is just not in any way a resolution to sitting. as was stated before, sitting features have been discussed before, good luck with this!!! it is a long, long, loooong road for a suggestion to become a reality...-Jésus noir

Yes it would. Are this just for clans or for anybody u are dub/trip/quad playing with?
i think the amount of programming is not worth the potential benefit ... if u are mates u share pws ...and if u are in a clan i think u share (we do) so the benefit would not surpass the amount of work (investment) ...
in my clan i and my co leader have all pws and everyone has our mail ... since we are on diff timelines we can check on everybody if needed. They just have to mail/wall/facebook or simply call/sms and in some cases pop over to my house saying hilfe bitte

Hum that s an interresting suggestion. What are you thinking, 3 turns per game that can be taken, and only below 12h?

i was thinking 2 times per game, and only in the red zone (under 2 1/2 hours - id even consider it under 1 hour). it just means anyone can play it other than clan leaders.
i am a clan leader and i have people who refuse to give their pw. and they still miss turns! drives me crazy.

Some people end up taking a full weeks vacation and have no internet during that time (Say Camping). Some games extend beyond a months time ( I.E. Trench). Some people are business people who have commitments and deadlines to meet and CC is a casual outlet to be competitive and challenge there mind. I believe most people are not as Overly Competitive as the small few who abuse the rule.
I will say it again.... by willedtowin1 on Thu Feb 09, 2017 6:54 am If You are going to make the sitting rule to technical because of a small few who abuse it, You may make the site unbearable for a vast majority to play. Just my humble opinion..............
It seems that there are a reasonable amount of people in the clan world who can spot sitting abuse. I would say most clan members are "Casual" competitive players. Most clans want to cover each others turns when needed as most people are not on CC all day long (and we are all not robots to time). Please keep the site from becoming unbearable for the majority of Casual players.................

The most important anti-abuse mechanism is to have it auto-post in the log that somebody else is taking a turn, instead of trusting people to post voluntarily. That would take the guesswork out of C&A cases, and allow a liberal sitting policy while still allowing real abuse to be handled.
