Conquer Club

This Cup's purpose is to establish new and lower ranked clans,
give them a chance to win something and gather valuable experience
as a base for further growth and rise in ranks.

It is not as strict as other competitions as we have to cherish
any new blood coming into clan world and give them a chance
to understand and learn how to be an effective clan.

Please bear that in mind.


When signing up, please add a contact!

GENERAL INFO:

• Sign ups are open till March 22nd and will start March 29th.
• There is no seeding, bracket will be randomized, which could give some clans a Round 1 bye.
• The winner of the event will have to finish 3 wars (minimum).
• There is no limitation on number of clans entering.
• Each clan war is to be issued a medal as it normally would.

OPEN FOR:

• Every new clan (younger then 1 year) can participate unless they are ranked in the top 20 in the F400.
• Every older clan ranked below #25 in F400 when cup starts can participate aswell.
• New clans that are formed from a top 20 clan are not allowed if over 50% of members are from a top 20 clan
• TO has the right to adjust joining requirements as seen fit
  
  RESTRICTED FOR PREVIOUS WINNERS:
• NC - THE PACK
• NC2 - Grim Reapers
• NC3 - The New Crusade
• NC4 - Les Hussards du Dragon
  
  RULES OF ENGAGEMENT:
  
  • Each clan member can only participate in 15 games per clan war
  • Each map can only be used twice per clan per clan war but can only be used once per game type
    (i.e. once for triples and once for quads)
  • Not allowed - freestyle, speed, manual deployments, beta maps, no reinforcements
  • Trench is allowed in the first set of games, but not in the second set.
  • 12 H agreement is not requirement, but can be negotiated by engaging clans
  
  WARS:
  
  • Will be consisted of 41 games
  • 14 quads, 14 trips, 12 dubs + tie on Random map with escalating, chain and no fog settings
  • Games need to be divided into 2 sets and the 2nd set should not start any later than 2 weeks from the 1st set
  • Clans will work out all other details between themselves
  
  DESIRED START DATES:
  
  • Round 1: March 29th
  • Round 2: May 24th
  • Round 3: July 19th
  • Round 4: September 13th (if needed)
  • Round 5: November 1st (if needed)
  
  CONFLICTS:
  
  • For using maps & players more the stated in RULES OF ENGAGEMENT
    the other team gets to choose which games they wish to replace,
    by choosing map and settings of their preference.
  • If at any time anyone of you needs some time ask!!
  • All complaints are to be looked up in case by case fashion.

Is the above retrospective ? So does this exclude Atlantis and ACE etc ?

Clans younger than 1 year from now as this is signup. It still give older clans the availability to join if they are ranked over #25

Yes it is retrospective from the last Newcomercup, and yes this would exclude them as well...although they would have been excluded by the old rules as well due to their ranking in the F400

Atlantis was formed on March 2 of last year. Would we be eligible? Not saying we will enter, but I need to be sure before I bring it in front of the clan.

This is correct as you were ranked #6 in the last F400

Allow to me say you have updated the line to be less with the spirit of this competition.

It is called "Newcomers Cup" not "Low Ranked Clans Cup".

Those 2 rules next to each other kind of make it useless to say "every new clan..." Just say everyone less than rank 20 or everyone less than rank 25 can enter...

I fully understand why you want to prevent a top clan like ACE to enter this cup, obviously they aren't new.
But I think that rule was enough

You can have whatever opinion you want, the spirit of the competition is to give lower ranked/new clans a chance to play in a league and not get totally thrashed by a top clan in the first round. That is what the whole intro is based on in the first thread

You could rename it The Newcomers (Unless you're really good) Cup

btw HH will not be entering this year, we're not very new anymore.

Why not make it younger then 1 year, and outside top 10 or 15?
New clans start @ 1,000 points which is ranked 24th as of jan 15. If the clan wins just 1-2 wars it makes them ineligible using a top 20 rule.

Which list are you guys using the clan list on the site itself, the F400 ranking??

There is some interest under members from the VDLL, but since we are by now one of the oldest clan in CC history we wont fit the 1 year requirement . But in CC clans list we fall in the top 20 I thought, so thats why!

The F400 since it is the list that's actually kept up to date. The list on the clan page has been incorrect for some time.
