of course i want in, it used to be all i ever wanted to play, i'm 25 percent on 8 player standard no spoils.
best two maps i've found for it is hive and world 2.1
and yes, i've pissed some people off, but the game chat is 85 percent of the fun.

Also...I think 3rd Crusade would be a good map for this kind of game as well. There's plenty of little bonuses so everyone can carve out their own little empire.

Looks like this thread has been quiet for a bit. I'm sure there's loads more standard 8-man players out there..
I'd like in on this if it still exists, jig. A Third Crusade 8-man with decent players is CC at its best (and also worst).

Conquer Rome makes great games as well.

Yup, in a few of those at the moment. Can't get knocked off early due to barbarian starts, so generally a good game. Big fan of Battle for Iraq on that setting.
