Ok heres how it works. A new feature is added to the posts. A report this button. You report it and list the reason why. This way mods can cut down on unwanted spam. Like in the jesus freaks new recrution thread. It fot overun with a religion debate. With a report this feature that could be cut down.
If someone just started to report everything and it was obvious they should be banned for a week as a consequence.
I hope this hasnt been mentioned.

This sounds like a forum issue. I don't know if Lack would want to hack it just for this.

I think it would be way over-used and the mods prefer to sit back on their cushy chairs and not have to do that much.

Thats where the ban would come into play. And an active mod isnt that bad of a thing to have.

I'm sure this suggestion has been made to our friends at phpBB. We'll have to see what is included in version 3.0 of their forum software.
