Well,I was thinking that when you post something in the Forum (Any forum) that you should recieve a notification.
Instead of going all the way to your e-mail or clicking your way to your post. It will be visible possibly on your Interaction Menu. I believe this will be a more faster way of checking if someone posted something on your Post.

no, that would just clutter up the menus, this may be a good idea for a sub menu (a menu in a menu if that makes sense) but isn't so important to get a tab in the interaction menu

Why do you need a notification that you posted something?
"Hey You, You just posted in the forum. Read your own post <link>here</link."

TheFissk-Yes,but the notification can pop up SOMEWHERE in the "main men"

blakebowling-Not your own post oviously, but when somebody else does. So instead of logging on,going to the Forum, and check your post to see if someone posted an answer, you get a notification on your "main menu" (By main menu I mean the place after you login)

If you don't see a notification,no one commented
If you do see a notification, click it (or whatever) and see the comment.

It's just a faster and easier way to see if someone responded.

you know how many "pops ups" (or however you would receive the notification) I would receive considering how much I post? And i don't even post that much.

Imagine someone who posts in Off topics a lot, they would be getting pop ups almost constantly.
