Concise description:
Give notifications that a speed game is ready not matter what page you are on in CC.

Specifics/Details:
There have been times when playing CC that I will join an 8 player speed game that will take a pretty long time to fill and start. Because of this, I am playing other games and miss the large speed game completely.

This suggestion goes off another suggestion I read about where players are given 30 seconds to get to the game before the speed game starts. I enjoy that there is a notification when the speed game starts or that it is my turn in a game, but I only get these notifications when I leave a window open with the awaiting games page is open or i leave a window open with a game i am playing.

However, if a game takes a very long time to start, i sometimes leave the awaiting games page so i can play other games or read about suggestions and other things in the forum. I feel there should be a notification that a game as started or it is my turn no matter where i am on CC. It doesn't need to take me to the game but just letting me know no matter what page I am on would be good.

I know people will say "well don't play so many games" or "it's not like you can't leave a window open for yourself" but I know i am not the only one who likes to play a whole bunch of games at once. With a lot of windows open, everything gets cluttered and its hard to navigate through pages and slows down my computer. Creating a notification about a game no matter where I am, as long as i am on CC, than i don't have to have 10 windows open so i know when a speed game starts or it is my turn.

How this will benefit the site and/or other comments:
- Allows CC member to browse the site without leaving many windows open or constantly checking back to see when a game starts/their turn.

There are Game Notifications available. Here : http://www.conquerclub.com/player.php?mode=settings

Just check-list the box before "It's my turn in a speed game (by popup alert)"

And if you use firefox for example, that usually blocks pop-up, just add an exception in tools>>options>>content

Hope this helps

the problem is a pop up alert is crap...

Why not revert to the old PM system, it's far better. Seeing as the pop up system doesn't always work..
