Command Prompt Interactivity with the Whole Site

Concise description:
  • I want to be able to do custom forum searches, inbox searches, game searches, log searches, and other searches. I want to be able to command prompt edit things that should be personalizable.

Specifics/Details:
  • It would save time from requesting features.
  • Instead of requesting a feature "bring back the old tournament dropdown" or requesting "customize tournament dropdown" I just want that to be a standard thing, which I imagine is easier with a command prompt.

How this will benefit the site and/or other comments:
  • This interface isn't all that grand. I don't want something fancier, or even this to change, just a different way to get around. Also, that will allow people to supplant Greasemonkey somewhat. It will also make statistics compiling so much easier (is Chicago really attacked less in SoC games?"

Drawbacks: Increased site load by people searching for information to compile stats.

In which case:

Suggestion 2.0: Torrent dumps of all the data on the site (that we can normally access).

Command Prompt? Like the DOS prompt cmd.exe thing that's on Windows machines? I don't think I understand how that would interact with the website?

It would be a feature of the website.

I don't think you understand how websites work.

Probably not, but I don't understand why I have to click stupid buttons instead of just typing in what I want the search to do. Why is using a spreadsheet easier than this website? How is it I can find obscure protein and genomics data easier than I can find Chicago on this website?

Yoshi. It's really really really a hard thing to do in a website. Specially it would be even harder and only a little percentage of the user will be able to use such feature.
