Placing Armies

This is a stupid thing, but it really upset me.

I had just taken out a player Got his cards and went to place more Armies, once I placed these armies I would have won the game.

So I went to place them on Kamchaka click the ok button, next thing you know all my armis are on Indonesia and they are blocked by my other armies so I can't make any moves.

I've had this happen before where you click a country to place armies or attack and next think you know you look down and it is no longer set on that country, because for some reason it scrolled even further.

So is there a way when picking a country to attack or place armies on, that it is not a scroll menu, but some other kind of menu.

It might help to post the game nos. where this happened. This has never happened to me.

Indonesia was more than likely immediately above Kamchatka on your scroll-down menu and you clicked it rather than Kamchatka. Or do you have a wheel on your mouse? This could have done it - after you clicked Kamchatka, if the field was still highlighted and you tweaked your wheel a tiny bit, that would be enough.

NO that's exactly what I mean, my wheel mouse is a little jumpy so sometimes this happens, and I'm sure it happens to other people, that's why I am wondering if it is possible to have some other kind of menu besides a scroll down menu.

I actually had a similar thing happen to me recently with fortifications. In that case, I had selected 4 armies, but it only moved 1. So clicking on the map wouldn't really address the problem (aside from the fact that it would introduce a whole new world of pain to the mapmakers).

I've been wondering if it's actually a consequence of the greasemonkey script. It only seems to run after the page is fully loaded (naturally, since it needs all the log data to function); is it resetting the drop-downs somehow when it does its thing? If so, any selections you make while the page is still being downloaded could be lost.
