Doesn't it make more sense to award armies at the end of the Round in freestyle games?
As it is now, those players who are constantly logging in (or using RSS) are awarded for knowing when the next round has occured, then logging in and taking a couple key terroritories.

Then wouldn't that just trade the advantage to the player that goes last? I don't think it's a good idea to make it potentially rewarding to slow down the game by intentionally waiting 23 hours, or however long, to be the last person to play.

me being one of the players that watches the RSS continualy during about 16 hours out of every 24 (at work and at home), i say this is a bad idea... rewarding the last player to log in is bad,
in the "double turns allowed" games there are already lots of times when going last is very adventageous, and therefor you'll get 2 or even 3 players waiting to play their turn till others have played theirs. slows down the game like crazy.
being rewarded for going as soon as possible is a good system.
also, the reward isnt that great anyway... ye i'll get my 3 armies before you get your 3 armies on turn two or 3, but you'll know what to attack cause you'll know i wont respond untill the next turn (by which time other players will have cause both of us different problems).
