It would be handy if the mapmaker script that generated the army count graphics for testing coordinates had options for generating only one-digit numbers and only two-digit numbers at a time. That way it'd be easier to see how a country looked both ways.

I agree. And some neutral armies (gray coloured) would be a good thing, too. No one can see the neutrals before the map is alive.
