This might have been mentioned already, but what if there was some way of saving a place for your eg doubles partner on a game, because im sure many people have experienced problems where someone else joins the game before your partner. Also, it might have been too late to drop the game because it has already initialised.

So the game would never start until the saved position of the partner had been filled.

Maybe you could have a section where you put the name of the player eg lackattack and that sends an invitation to him/her and fills the table with a temporary player until the invitaion a has been accepted

Do you think this is a good idea? (as an alternative to a password maybe)

Lol did you know, it has certainly been true in the past that what we call intelligence and scientific discovery have conveyed a survival advantage. It is not so clear that this is still the case: our scientific discoveries may destroy us all, and even if they don't, a complete unified theory may not make much difference to our chances of survival. However, provided the universe has evoloved in a regualr way, we might expect that the reasoning abilities that natural selection has given us would also be valid in our search for a complete unified theory and so would not lead us to the wrong conclusions

Perhaps the mechanism for this could be simply to switch the game from private/password protected to public. Then you could load up your team before unleashing your game on the world.
