Team Freestyle Option

What I mean is I love how fast freestyle goes and I can accept multiple people coming at you at 1 time, but when playing teams (especially if you have a deadbeat partner or 1 that doesn't care about you which as I start seems to happen more than not) I'm thinking we need to find a way to limit 1 team mate at a time to stop multi players within 1 team attacking at 1 time.
Maybe I'm off base which is why I'm suggesting a team freestyle option for team games that only allows 1 teammate per team access to play at a time so there are 2 or 3 guys playing, but not from attacking from within the same team. Tell me what you think maybe we can better tune this idea.
