CC lagging in Firefox

For over a week now, I have monstrous lag whenever I play CC in Firefox. It's become virtually unplayable.

I know it's FF related and not a hardware issue or a connection problem, because I've tried switching back and forth between FF and Chrome. The lag isn't there in Chrome. So I could play the game in Chrome if I had to, but I really hate the look of Chrome and would prefer not to.

It appeared right after the system update for the new Medal system, so I'm guessing something at that time was changed which affects FF performance but not Chrome. Happy to do a debug dump or whatever you call it, but I'll wait to hear what specifically would help you the most.

Not a whole lot there, but for what it's worth:

This page uses the non standard property “zoom”. Consider using calc() in the relevant property values, or using “transform” along with “transform-origin: 0 0”. viewtopic.php

It's not getting any better. Tried all the usual things -- clearing cache, cookies, old files, etc. Update browsers to latest versions, defrag, reboot.

CC is almost completely unplayable in FF now, and although Chrome is better, there are significant lags in Chrome also.

Lots and lots of complaints I've heard of timing out as well, way more then usual.
