Facebook connections lost. No sign-in through Facebook, no

Operating System: Chromebooks(3 laptops), Windows 10, iPhone
Browser: Chrome, FireFox
Scripts/third party programs used: most devices have none

Trying to log in using Facebook option get error message

[*]App Not Setup: This app is still in development mode, and you don't have access to it. Switch to a registered test user or ask an app admin for permissions.


I finally got in on Windows and changed my password. I could then sign in through the changed password on my Chromebooks.
Specifics:

[*]Error message on log in's through Facebook
Now will not let me share wins on Facebook - same error.

People had been reporting other problems with Facebook not game related but it just affected me yesterday. I was not able to log in in the morning. In the afternoon I corrected by changing my password and not using the Facebook option on the CC home screen to log in.

Today I noticed the share results to Facebook gives the same error message.

"App Not Setup: This app is still in development mode, and you don't have access to it. Switch to a registered test user or ask an app admin for permissions."

This appears to be a Facebook problem I really notice because for years I have been using the Facebook option to log in.

It is a Facebook issue, out of CC control.

Best alternative is to use username and PW to log in.
