Chrome + BOB Bugged

Postby Foam on Sun Sep 01, 2013 7:49 pm

So for some strange reason, a few months ago, my BOB addon crapped out. I am using Chrome but this isn't affecting me when I use Firefox. It's very strange, I've tried to remove the addon and reinstall it many times but it still doesn't work. Anyone have any advice?

You have to use Tampermonkey and then install BOB in Tm. They're currently not working for me though.

Edit: I just re-installed and everything's fine. But yeah, to run scripts in Chrome you need Tampermonkey. It's a free, legit script available via the Chrome Store, just Google it.

Not entirely true, just download the BOB-file and drag it to your extensions-page in chrome still works (that's how I tested it mainly).

I have never used Tampermonkey but I did get this to work when I tried to just re-install the script today.

I'm positive I was doing it correctly before, however, there is one small difference: previously I was re-installing 5.2.4, this time 5.2.6. Not sure what the actual problem was (honestly Chrome still seemed to be caching the settings or something before even after I removed 5.2.4) but it does seem to be working again.

OK, every now and then I should shut down my browser and restart it.

If anyone else has this issue, tampermonkey has just done an update.

new problem
BoB menu has disappeared in ALL my games. It appears on every other page on CC, but as soon as I log into a game BoB is gone.
I have rebooted the computer and still not fixed. Anyone having similar issues or know a solution?

I need stronger coffee.. Each game has a "start bob" that i have to click on to make bob work

In your BOB Menu in the left nav, make sure that "Auto BOB:" says "Auto BOB: On". I'm guessing you might have accidentally turned it off.
