the only reason I stay freemium

Postby Nguyenthaonhi on Sat Jan 12, 2019 2:13 am

the only reason I stay freemium is to handicap my dice among other things. If my opponents aren't given that leg up, they won't stand a sporting chance and these game will lose all interest.

Is this a bot? Seems like it's pretty sophisticated. It's use of specific CC lingo is pretty solid.

I hope we can get it to talk about home base. Benjamin Beaufort Blue said, "I bet they's a lot of shrimp in these waters."

You seem to be on a nautical theme tonight.

Nope, I just love shrimp even more than that fantastic movie.

We hoped to have some seafood in New Orleans last summer it was one of the main reasons I wanted to go, the place I heard about was gone and crayfish was not in season because they hide in the hot water kind of like trout. We found one place with shrimp but it was not as good as a place doing "New Orleans cuisine" in Houston later on the trip.

Last night we went to a place that opened here last fall or summer called The Captain's Boil. We had been for lunch a month or so ago. They finally had crayfish (the menu reads crawfish to prevent mispronouncing them to the table staff) so we ordered a pound, they were not bad but they were not great either. The spice and preparation was great, they say you should cook them from live the same as their larger cousins, it is illegal to have live crayfish here because they breed quickly.

Someone released some is a few local creeks and now there are quite a few, I bought a trap from bass pro shop but, have not had time to take it out yet, you are allowed catch all the crayfish you can and because they are an invasive species you are supposed to kill them right away to remove them from Alberta. I'm not a huge fan of lobster, it's ok on occasion, even I know it's better fresh.

I might buy a portable burner and pot if I find crayfish trapping to be productive, I would try to picnic creek side or possibly cook them drive home and eat them later hopefully next day so they are fresher that the ones that woke me up with a sore throat last night.

It's funny. I do love fish, but I've never been a huge fan of crustaceans. Too much hassle removing all the bony plates and stuff for too little meat once you get it. I'm one of the few people I know that doesn't get all ga-ga over lobster. I like the taste of crab, but quite honestly I prefer it canned when someone has already done all the work of removing the useless parts for me.

I used to catch crayfish to feed to my pet raccoons. I think of them as animal feed, not quite fit for human consumption. I admit though, I've never had them done properly by a professional chef, so once I do I might change my mind.

They are definately a lot of work for a little bit of meat.

Last night I gave up on the claws after a few and was just going for the meat in the tails (Somewhat appropriately I spelled that tales). I gave them to my wife who enjoys the challenge of finding all the meat like Anthony Bourdain talked about on the New Orleans episode of The Layover.

To me they are just small lobsters, nice on occasion but over-rated, boil and eat.

It is typical for them to add spices to the water with crayfish. I do love the spice blend at that place but prefer shrimp. Theirs are like the crayfish just boiled and served in their entirety, eyes, legs, tails, big long feelers... then you have to peel and discard all the stuff you don't want to eat. I have seen people just eat them shells and all. Never seen anyone eat the head but someone probably does.
