Why is it that CC took an automatic renewal payment from my PayPal account two days ago and now they tell me I need to pay for Premium membership? I'm locked out of playing until they can clear this up. Terrible business practice!

File a help ticket and they will straighten it out: http://support.conquerclub.com/

In the general sense, however, I believe if you use Paypal with your credit card, it goes through immediately, but if you use Paypal to pay from your bank, it will wait for the funds to clear, which many be three or four days.

Go to the Store. Click on "Account". If you have an active subscription, it will say so, under "Active Subscriptions." Turn it off.
