1. Is a manual placement, escalating, 6 player game played the same?

2. What do you do when everybody else in the game is going for the bonuses?

Game 12369675

1. Yes you should play manual the same as you would sequential under these settings. The people who go for bonuses may be able to get them faster and have more of an advantage early because of manual, but they will also hit each other with stacks. The cards, being spread out, and good timing are what will help you in this game (considering its freestyle).

On bigger maps it would be OK to go for bonuses since the cards won't play a roll for quite a few rounds, but in the end its all about sweeping the board by taking people out.

2. Don't place your stacks in an easy or common bonus to go for. People will hit you regardless if they are dumb enough to go for bonuses in escalating on small maps. Place them spread out in open areas to move out of aggressive players way.

Your doing good in this game, but not sure if this was the one your talking about. Good Luck!

Thank you. That is the exact game I was talking about as a matter of fact. If I can make it through the first round of turn ins any one of them will be sitting ducks I believe. Also hoping they look at me as a nothing and start breaking each other's bonus.
