Hey, nametaken, the bots are there to give players some practice, particularly new folks who haven't played before or who are looking for a quick game.

Its a travesty that beating bots counts towards your winning pct.

Yeah, pretty much. Not only are the points becoming a less useful feature but so is the win rate.
