Honestly, this site needs more than superficial changes to its homepage and the above frame in order to attract and retain new members. And, there's the lingering doubt about the status of such online games (personally, I believe that the 'cyber vidya game' market is being swamped by flash-based games and easy-to-do MMORGPs). CC is more costly in patience and thought. It brings less immediate 'action' (thus less immediate gratification), but that's what most entering users want. Either you strategically target the users which already like such costly games (CC/board games), or you keep firing into the dark with subpar facial lifts.

My primary concern and belief (not founded on fact) is that this site should accept its inferior status in a declining market of enthusiasm for its product. All it can do is retain current membership while incentivizing current members to spread CC through 'word-of-mouth' marketing. This strategy has not been adopted, and I expect CC to stagnant or decline while it pursues its ineffective strategies.

I would rather have that corny homepage back then not have a forum button.

Who makes the calls on these things? Time to hire a real designer because your tastes & ideas blow... I hate all this new stuff, graphics suck ass too.

And it's difficult to hit the forum button when you're browsing on a phone. It's annoying to pinch and zoom and it's close to my refresh browser button.

I do not approve of this change.

It is very irritating wanting to complain about the missing forum link but being unable to find the forum link so as to enter the forum and complain about it not having a link

Bring it back. I shouldn't have to click COMMUNITY to get to a pointless page and then click the ugly FORUM graphic to get to the forum. As j1mathman just pointed out, the tiny FORUM link in the top right is impossible to click on a phone and barely noticeable even on a desktop. Who puts three tiny links in the top right corner of a site? It looks terrible.

If the Community page is here to stay, can the Forums panel at least be jazzed up a bit? Maybe with avatars from users like, I dunno, mrswdk? Or random grabs from discussions or something like the Events panel has?

i actually go many times a week in the clan tab to go check wars. this tab has nothing to do with joining a clan (have you ever explored this tab and how cool it is????). The tabs i use often are scoreboard, clans and 1000 times a day forum.
"the game" and "maps" are for noobs. "community" is designed for complete noobs; between "anouncements" on the sidebar and the banners on your game page's header, any person knowing the site a little finds all this information.
