What's with the EXTREMELY ANNOYING POPUPS?

Postby DaGip on Thu Jun 05, 2014 4:59 am

I keep getting a very annoying popup at the bottom of my screen that says ConquerClub 90% approval rating. Please get rid of this annoying program! It distracts from the enjoyment of the site!

sounds like you received some virus after downloading too much porn. no need to blame cc, just clean up your computer.

WTF!~

Thanks...I thought it was a new "thing" Conquer Club was trying out. 90% Trust Rating is what it says. Two days ago I wanted to download new JAVA program, but it was early in the morning, and I downloaded from a Flash Player scam site!

I thought I cleaned everything up, but there must be another thing attached I'll have to search for. SORRY! Admin can lock this thread if they want.

It was a program called WebGet that was attached on my browser. Got rid of it. No problems now.

You know, there are little popups that appear when you hover your cursor over a territory when you are attacking or fortifying. Those are kind of annoying and obstruct a players view a bit.

I think he's talking about the tooltips that pop up when you have clickies enabled. I believe turning off clickies will fix that.

Also, on certain maps there was a bug where the tooltips would never go away, but I believe that's been fixed. If you do have this problem, maybe it has reared its head again, and needs to go to Bugs.
