if you are playing Polymorphic (4) round 6 is your 24 turn ...
Take this for an example https://www.conquerclub.com/game.php?game=20519196
I basically lost at the end of round 1 ( had a bad starting position + opponent eliminated 10 of my troops (he lost 1) in crucial moment) . After that I had to play 9 turns until opponent managed to eliminate me ...
Why is there no resign button ? We had a poll here , and people are overwhelmingly voting for a resign button.
What's more you automatically lose when you miss three turns .
In speed games people resign by missing turns. The worst thing is that you have to wait until time runs out for three turns because if you leave they can play one more turn and you lose ...

you mean ban me for deadbeating ?
Funny part is that in this example i was really playing till the end ... Just goes to show you how pointless was to play 9 turns ...
I mean at least put resign button in speed games. This one is really ridiculous. Reward for winning a speed game is that you have to sit down and wait for three turns to pass. This has to END !!

For Poly games, the Resign button appears in the 6th round provided that you also have less than half of the troop count of your opponent.

for the right price I could arrange to ban your opponent with an abuse of power if you like

The point i am trying to make is that in poly game we should count turns rather than rounds .
Take poly(4) for an example ... 6 rounds in poly(4) means 24 turns ...
More precisely to enter round 6 in poly(4) you will have to play 21 turns ...

another argument is for speed games ... People resign by leaving, and you are left there waiting that time runs out for three turns because if your opponent returns and plays one turn you will lose for missing turns...

To conclude not having resign button in regular games can make some sense , BUT in speed games it makes no sense because people are resigning anyway by leaving wich is even worse.

So at least introduce resign button in speed games , and BAN those who leave speed games without resigning first ... :ugeek:
