If you have a truce with a 2 turn notice and player 1 gives notice. Is player 2 expected to play their 2 turns before they attack, or can player 2 attack once player 1 has played 2 turns after giving notice? What is the etiquette?

I take it if you are at turn 5... then at turn 7 its on.
Also take it as though.. this is war so don't trust anyone and neither should they trust you.
I try to avoid these type of truces, if rarely I do enter into a truce I make it to a game turn
So in turn 5, I may agree to a truce to turn 10, then it is real clear.

Yeah, people will stab you in the back if it benefits them, so keep an eye out. It's better to ask for a clear truce from the get go.
You are on turn 5, one player is huge, and you both want to concentrate on him. You might decide that two or three turns if enough to even it out, so you say "Let's truce and deal with yellow until the end of turn 8." I don't like truces myself and rarely play larger player games, but if I was to agree to one, I'd want it to be fair. Not a truce til only the two of us left kinda thing. Some people never end their truce, so long as it ensures one of them the win.
