is it possible to resign from a game

I am in a couple of games that I no longer want to play because the people take forever to take a turn... Is there a way to resign from a game... or, forfeit or something?

Also, is there a way to flag another player as someone that you don't want to play again?

Only certain types of games allow forfeits, not all.

Regarding flagging to not play again - click on their name, it takes you to their “wall”. On the wall you’ll find the option to add them to friend or foe lists.

Adding someone to your foe list blocks them from joining future games (as long as it’s non tournament game than foe list doesn’t apply)

If you click begin turn and dont play, after a short time you get a missed turn. 2 or 3 of them gets you out of the game. I did this when i didnt want to play vs someone in 24 hr games.

No you shouldn't click begin turn if you want to miss a turn.
Running out of time after you clicked begin turn doesn't count as a miss.

Also, deadbeating ( = missing 3 turns in a row ) is forbidden.
if you are in a 1vs1 game, ( and it's not a tournament game) then you can resign from round 10.
If it's a multiplayer game, you have to play until the end of the game.

It used to be round 6 in poly and round 10 in regular 1vs1.
Maybe rule changed and I missed it.

I think the way to give up a game is not easy but there is a way. I used to use it. If you click the start of the turn and don't play, after a while you will miss the turn. And then 2 or 3 of those will get you out of the game.
