f*ck me running. This is the stupidest checkout system I've ever seen. I run my business that sells all over the world retail and commercial and it's fucking easier than this....what the actual f*ck???

I just want to buy a premium as a gift for a friend.

It used to be easy.

Anyway, can someone please walk this stupid caveman through it? In clear, easy steps for the crippled geriatric???

Step 1 : Go to store -> click redeem -> check how much credit you currently own

Step 2 : You need 3500 credits, so calculate how many credits you need to buy, if you already have more than 3500 credits, go step 4

Step 3 : Click on the BUY $ and select the amount of credits you need ( you likely need to buy too many )

Step 4 : once you have more than 3500 credits,
- go to Reedem, select "Gift Certificate - 12 Months "
- go to checkout
- select the to username of the one you want to offer the gift to
- click checkout

I followed this exactly. Step 3 got ME another year, not a giftable year.

So I need to skip that and just go to step 4 and buy a giftable one??

I sincerely appreciate your trying to help. This is ridiculous. I'd be out of business if my customers had to work this fucking hard to buy my shit. Unbelievable. SMH AGAIN....my neck's getting sore....

I guess I need to go open a ticket for cavemen....

EDIT

Ok, I need to buy CREDITS, not a premium subscription....? And the way it's set up, you CANT buy the amount for a sub. So I have to spend $40 to buy a $31 gift?

What a crock of shit. Brian would crap if he saw what wham has done to this place....it's disgusting.

Makes me proud to be one of the longest term customers...f*ck me

It does look a little complicated now you mention it.. I will ask our nice tech team guys to have a look at it when they have time :)

While you're at it, maybe ask if they can add more levels to gift certificate premium? I remember running a tournament back in the day with 6 and 9 month premium prizes, but when I went to checkout I realized 9 months of premium (3-3 month certificates) cost more than a year, so they got 3 extra months since it saved me some currency.

That is all up to the site owners, it has been mentioned to them in the past. It would take some convincing as to why it is needed.

You could make a value pack instead for tournament organizers that want to buy prizes for their tourneys.

Something flexible enough that you could buy say 20 or 50 months or for that matter just being able to choose x months above- say 20? then split it into gift certificates of the lengths you please.

After all if someone wants to buy a lot of premium time for tourney, clan or other purposes, it should at least not add up to being more expensive per month than buying a year for yourself or someone else...? Not sure if it should actually include a slight discount, but a system that allows you to buy x months of premium at the same monthly price as youd spend for a year, then let you split it into gift certificates as you please should be doable?

Nothing around here is made to be convenient for the users - its' all designed to fleece the shit out of you.
as if getting schiestered by the dice is not enough to ruin the experience, you get financially schiestered in having to spend more than you need to give Gifts.
They even dropped the 'Standard' mode of play from Battle Royale's, lol.
No surprise there. And i get the sense that none of the admins have the balls to tell the CEO what a sack of lazy shit he is.

....probably too occupied sneakily selling our data use out the back door to marketing cronies for pocket-cash again. The speed at which bigWHAM's professional real-life (not private) info evaporated from the links posted here in the past would cause painful whiplash.
