Apocalypse / Final Battle map

here is an idea for a map that i had. its just a rough sketch, obviously. i still havent worked out all the connections and territories yet, but i want to know if there is enough interest that it would be worth while to put more time into it.

Image

Continents: 6
Territories: 33 (my goal is to have ~45)

i labeled everything there so you all can get a general idea of what i was thinking when i drew it. i want to have at least "heaven / forces of good", "underworld / forces of evil", a partially-destroyed earth, and some earthly human population. i added the old beliefs and 4 horsemen just because they round things out a bit.

i'm new here, and this is my first attempt at a map, so comments and suggestions are welcomed.
thanks!

I find the idea too controversial. Also, most people aren't going to write anything about something that looks that abstract.

the idea is worth developing
put at least some colours to define the continents and territories. and maybe some connections and we'll have a nice idea.

Indeed, as you've begun it's very new testament... 2/3 of the world isn't christian.

And I'm concerned by what else you're going to put under "old beliefs" - I mean, if the apocalypse comes true as predicted, wouldn't that instantly make islam, hinduism, buddhism, and scientology old beliefs? You really don't want to piss off the scientologists. ;-)

that's a great idea - consider a focus on a single mythological source. For instance, change heaven to Valhalla and suddenly its a historical norse myth map, rather than a religious map.

I agree with oaktown. pick romen, greek, or norse but it could make some people mad if you used a modurn religion

Mayan myth would be best.

don't know much about old myth religions, but the ones i do know about (and most people know about (I think,)) are Greek, Roman and Eygptian Mythology...

so I think you should do one of them..

I usually make ideas for maps, I never really stick to them.
