Hey Isaiah,

So if I get it right I need the draft stamp first.
1)The map, first and foremost, must have a clear plan of how production will go

Seeing as the map is already near completion I don't think this is a problem.
2) Have a playable image. (If it would be quenched instead of Draft stamped, would it be possible to play on it?)
This should include the following:
Territory names
Working legends
Speculative Bonuses
Tentative Border Divisions

Check
3) The working image needs to be beyond rough draft state. This means that you must provide the following:
A working image done in some kind of graphic software. Pencil-drawn images and images done on Microsoft Paint will not be accepted or considered a working draft.
At least two quality updates must be provided.(*)

Check
4) Have honest and interested discussion. Not just you and three friends.

Well I await your honest opinion of the map.

Looking more closely, I can see that you have some graphical ability, so I have a few items that need attention:

1. First of all the map will need to be reduce to fit within the size restrictions:
Size Restrictions wrote: 1. STANDARD SMALL MAP: WIDTH up to 630 px; HEIGHT 600 px
2. STANDARD LARGE MAP: WIDTH up to 840 px ; HEIGHT 800 px
3. SIZE DIFFERENTIAL: A large map must be noticeably larger than its small map; 9% larger is required but 33.3% (1/3rd) is recommended.
4. NOTE: Mapmakers are encouraged to make their large maps within the standard size limits when possible to eliminate scrolling to attack/read the sidebar info.
However, if there's a valid reason, the Cartography Assistants may authorize a mapmaker to use additional space. It is the mapmaker's responsibility to make an official request for supersize while the map is in the Drafting Room! Please read the Supersize Policy for more information.

SUPERSIZE SMALL MAP: WIDTH up to 780 px; HEIGHT 650 px
SUPERSIZE LARGE MAP: WIDTH up to 1200 px ; HEIGHT 1000 px

2. You will need to add instructions to the legend, i.e. One way attacks
3. As it is right now, the map is very wide open. Considering the era the map takes place in, you will need to add some impassables such as mountains, rivers, forests etc.
4. Title Requirements:
Title Requirements wrote:
1. Map Name
2. A Tag with the date of your latest update [dd Mmm yyyy] (e.g. [06 Jul 2011])
3. List what page(s) the latest update is on (e.g. [p1/5])
4. If you're after feedback for something specific, then you can always add a suffix (e.g. Map Name [dd Mmm yyyy] p1/5 - Something for feedback? )

For now this is all I have. This is a long process, so have patience, have fun, and we can get this map all the way through to being quenched!!

Hard to match some of the colors on map and legend, faint differences etc.

Considering map/legend colour distinction, I'd say it is fairly easy to tell which regions give what bonus. The only thing that might need to be a little more different in colour are Vandals and Sassanids, their brownish tone is somewhat similar.
