I like you spockers. you keep it real.
Notice that even in maps made by people we know can make a visually appealing map, when they post a "rough start" people still come in and say visuals need a lot of work. Because we don't know you, until you bring something with a great visual appeal or interesting gameplay people won't respond well to your map at all.
This does not mean you should stop, just be able to realize it's going to take a lot of work. You should take notice of the visuals of the all the latest maps to be final forge or quenched. They are all top notch in their own way. Even the maps that bring interesting gameplay (Age of Merchants for one) have good visuals.
Life the way it is, you're gonna get judged by looks from the start. I realize it's a draft, but you could make the borders thicker and uniform. It is worth the time to start it over. Furthermore, right now you just have 6 areas with almost no connections. Take a good luck at the all the current maps, maps in development and the new XML features to be added soon ( I haven't really looked so I'm not sure what there is).
So while drafts are necessary, until you've shown people here what you can do, you're not going to get support with a draft. You need to put something together that comes closer to final form.
Since your map is a "fantasy" style map (as opposed to being based on a real area of the world) you have to put something unique in terms of visual and gameplay.
Good luck
