Conquer Commute - IDEA ONLY - Up for Grabs

betiko made a suggestion to turn waauw's Paris Metro map into a conquest map, and that gave me this idea:
DISCLAIMER: I have no idea if this is even possible, but it's worth suggesting.

Territories set up in lines radiating out from a central hub, like spokes on a wheel.
Each player starts at the end of a spoke and advances in towards the center.
Catch is: At the beginning of your turn, all your territories except the last one you took revert to neutral.
The central hub territories do not border each other.
Once you get to the central hub, you turn around and go back to your starting spot.
First player to reach his starting spot wins the game.
OR, there could be a mandatory round limit, and the game could keep track of how many times you make it to the center and back - most round trips completed wins.

Thoughts? Anyone interested?

If I'm understanding, there's no way to attack each other at all? Doesn't seem very risky to me.. just dicey...

OK, so I guess it's not a good idea. Still an idea - and maybe someone might be able to run (or at least tinker) with it.
