Conquer Club

I came up with this idea a few nights ago when I was laying in bed. I have not come up with any final plans or anything yet, however I will soon have a layout posted. This is going to be my first attempt on creating a map. I have much experience with coding and I believe that I should be able to finish it.

My plans are recreating the popular map off of halo called coagulation. I will first recreate the map in an overhead picture. Then cut it up. I think I will throw some tricks in there. For example I think I am going to make it so that the teleporters that are on top of the bases are able to be used in the map. I also may add a few other things.

Please tell me any ideas or suggestions you have as I create this map. A first draft layout should be posted soon.

My first layout will be created using a layout somewhat like this however I have a better picture in a book I own. Mine should be done soon.

This is the third time something like this has come up. Before you make the map you need to get clearance from bungie which isn't easy...at all

Add snipers can attack the middle or something, could make it more fun

He's right. Someone just tried this a little while ago (I think the thread is still down a page or two). If you do get bungie approval, look there for good ideas.

Also, get rid of the shadow. It's going to be a PAIN to see in.

Ill see what I can get out of bungie. They are pretty good guys I will see if they will understand. Also that picture I posted does make it look very small and I do not know why. I will not have that much mountain around it at all, if I get to make it.

Seems to be a better blueprint than mine... Heh 3rd times the charm... Well that's why it was in the idea forum.

I am still waiting for a reply from bungie, however I am going to continue creating the map and if worse comes to worse I will change a few things and use no copyrighted content.
