Fears of America

I have been thinking about what I think a rather interesting idea.
it is the CIA- headquarter The Pentagon. I downloaded a photo from above and changed it and divided it into 11 Departments (continents working to control the 10 biggest fears of America, and one being just the plain problematic behind all the fears, "Paranoia".
Each Department is divided in three corridors (Countries) from which the CIA-agents are trying to control the world.
for controlling the Corner departments it is worth 2 extra armies, middle departments only 3, but if you control the origin of the fears "PARANOIA" you can get 5 or maybe 7 troops per turn.
After all if you can control that you can also control the fears.

Please give me feedback and if someone would like to create it please le t me know, especially since I am lacking the ability to program or do whatever it takes to make map playable.
I do not even know if I have what it takes to upload this map correctly as a jpg.

cheers!

ur map looks okay. bonuses will have to be reworked. impassables will need to be added.

overall i think ur idea is very interesting.

btw, americans dont have to fear asians. we are a peaceful people that seeks only to dominate ur women and technology. u can have the rest of the world.

The CIA works out of Langley, Virginia. The Department of Defense works out of the Pentagon.

What would be better was if the Pentagon was the central territory or 5...

And then on each point was a representation of what the problem was...

i.e. terrorism could lead to a map of Afghanistan, Oil prices could lead to a map of Iraq (or GW Bush), Aliens, could be a (basic) map of the solar system, Environmentalism could be a factory with different bits (cars, coal, oil, china etc) Western Europe could be a bank note or something...

Then the interleaving problem areas (Iraq, Afghan) could connect somehow...

Meh - just a thought!!

To get away from the symmetry and add some impassables, how about make each territory an agent, and have one or two agents in each room. Agents in the same or adjacent rooms can attack each other. Just a thought.

Langley, Virginia
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Langley is an unincorporated community in the census-designated place of McLean in Fairfax County, Virginia, United States.

The community was essentially absorbed into McLean many years ago, although there is still a Langley High School. In addition to being a bedroom community for Washington, D.C., the area is the site of the headquarters of the Central Intelligence Agency, the headquarters of the Federal Highway Administration, and the Claude Moore Colonial Farm of the National Park Service. Langley is often used as a metonym for the CIA.

Embarrasing!

sorry to be such a ignorant fool not knowing the difference of CIA and the National defence or what is was called.
After all this is a war straegy game site and I should know. :D

many ideas and I am glad some of you liek the idea, if somebody wants to make something out of it let me know if you want my .ai or .psd files from it.
another thing striking my mind is that the two right corners are not symmetrical to the others. i reflected upon it after making everything and I do not think this is my fault but that it is constructed in this way.
strange.

coudl somebody please let me know how to add the image fiels directly on in the forum? it did not work for me.

cheers
