HAPPY ST. PATTY'S DAY!!!!

Well... it's a public holiday in Ireland, so we get the day off, unless you work in a pub or something. However, most wanna spend the day out and about, go to the parades, carnivals and whatnot, have a few drinks with friends... not spend it all on CC... so I doubt it benefits the jobless all that much since I'd assume they'd wanna go out too. Maybe next year, you guys can do the events on the St. Patrick's Weekend? It would make it fairer to everyone.

Happy St. Paddy's Day!

Only complaint really, needs more Freemium tournaments, was completely biased toward Premiums.

EDIT: ASK AND YOU SHALL RECEIVER (another freemium tourny up x3)

I see the St Patrick's Day map is closed already? :( Was it only available for 24 hours?

I'm sure it was open for a week last year or the year before, was looking forward to playing on it some more.

This was a total bust. Clovers way to hard to get. At midnight when this started clovers for every game then nary a one to be found except if you were lucky enough to win a br or a small tourney
One shouldnt have to play 100 games for 44 clovers some of us have jobs...

Very poorly executed imo

The clovers didn't seem to be dropping anywhere near what the hearts did at Valentine's Day. It was hard to play a V-Day map game and not get a clover for both players. This time I went three or four games without getting them often enough. I'm not even sure they were dropping as often for being online.

I hear ya ... just watched my opponent roll 12v17 and take the pot with 3 leftover troops.

Also saw one yesterday with a 29v11 who only lost 4 attacking troops.

And they say the dice aren't streaky ...

Thank you to all participants and organizers in this event! We had extremely high participation levels, to the extent that we had the 3rd highest number of games started on a single day... ever!

Congrats and good luck to the 44 Players that made the Madcap Chase For The Green

Also, congrats to the Top 50 from our Clover Scoreboard each of whom score a General Achievement Medal for collecting 44 Conquer Clovers, and extra congrats to our Challenge Achievement Medal winners for finding 88 Conquer Clovers (in order):

The second chance Tournament Waking In a Daze Amongst A Pile of Leaves is now open for those with spare Clovers. This will be your last use of these Clovers.

And to all those that did not have the time to fully participate in this event, there will be more events, and they will vary in timing and structure... so hopefully there will something for everyone coming up!

You can't start any new games on it, or play speed games, but there are still plenty of games waiting for players on the St. Patrick's Day map.

I am disappointed in the space for the second tourney... I wanted in and it's filled already!!!

Now I got 30 clovers and spent over 8 hours yesterday for them and nothing to use them on :/

St Pats map is a points killer, so much luck involved.

Not sure why people are moaning about it being a hard challenge, plenty of people got to 44, and ten of us even made it to 88. Sure we probably all lost points, but if you had a problem with that maybe stop after losing the first 100??

Anyway, where's the fun in a challenge being easy?

The issue is, it wasn't a matter of the difficulty but the amount of time required on a single day. You started well over 200 St Patty's games to do it... how many of us realistically have time to even attempt that on a Monday - or want to be stuck with 100 active St Patrick's Day games after the event? It either took an enormous amount of effort that day, and/or being stuck with over 100 games to play.. that's not a challenge, it's just silly.

People complain too much!
Yeah I had to start a bunch of games to get 50 clovers, turns out this particular Monday I had some extra time on my hands.
The difference is that if I didnt have that time and complete the challenge I wouldnt be crying about not getting my medal.

I was left with 200+ active games by the end of it. It's not a great problem, those games don't exactly require that much time/thought, I can easily get through 100 of those turns in less than 40 mins. I made the majority of them trench which reduced the thought required to virtually 0!

That said, I wish the clovers had been just slightly easier to come by; gets somewhat tedious looking at that horrible green all the time!

And I was the first to 88, after only 12 hours of playing.

Damnit, your not taking my clovers without a fight! I worked too hard for those!!

Will debate on trading them for stars though. Bahahaha.

And what about the clovers a lot of have who as much as we tried could not get 44? They are no longer in inventory. I busted my tail on Monday to make time to complete this challenge even playing right up til the very last moment and small tourney.

to quote Swifte

If you are going to let people who get clovers in the major tourneys count towards next year then the rest of us should be allowed to keep ours as well.

This entire challenge has been ridiculous from start to finish.

Well I am not the only one who thought it was a bogus set-up >.< I'd still like to have been able to use the 30 clovers I did get to enter the final tourney but that went up whenever and filled before I was able to get in.

So basically 30 clovers + 6+ hours = wasted.
